We did an ASHRAE Level 2 energy audit of five buildings of the city (Town Hall, Arena, Theater, Technical center/garage, City services). We did site visits and surveyed energy systems. From the data collected through the survey, engineering calculations were done to compare savings to a baseline consumption.

• Town Hall : yearly savings (29%, $18,000)
• Theater: yearly savings (10%, 54 tons GHG, $10,000)
• Services: yearly savings (30% electricity, 40% gas, 113 tons GHG, $60,000)
• Arena: yearly savings (16%)

A Level 2 ASHRAE energy audit allowed the customer to know the savings, eco-measures and ROI. That provides a good decision tool.
